2012 Election Information

Nominating petitions for Morgan County REA Board of Directors will be available in the MCREA office beginning January 12, 2012 and must be returned by February 1, 2012. These two dates comply with electric cooperative election regulations set forth by state law. The complete MCREA board policy dealing with the nomination, balloting and election of directors can be found in MCREA Board Policy 2-6 (link above).

Election takes place at MCREA's Annual Meeting on March 17, 2012 starting at 11:00 am at Fort Morgan High School.

Mail-in ballots will be sent to the MCREA membership on or about February 17, 2012.

Mail-in ballots must be returned to MCREA headquarters no later than 5:00 pm on March 16, 2012.

There are three positions on the Morgan County Rural Electric Association Board of Directors up for election in 2012, one from each of the three districts of the Association. A map outlining the district boundaries can be found on the "Service Area" page on the MCREA website or at MCREA headquarters.
