Morgan County Showdown: Fan Food Drive

In Morgan County, one of the biggest rivalries is that between the Brush Beetdiggers and the Fort Morgan Mustangs. Every year, these two go head-to-head in a handful of matchups, starting with the Brush vs. Fort Morgan football game. This year's game will take place Friday, September 4, at Beetdigger Stadium in Brush.

Want to show your support leading up to the game? Starting August 3, Morgan County REA is hosting a competitive food drive for fans. Each team will have a designated drop-off site in MCREA's front lobby, where anyone can donate nonperishable food items in support of their favorite team.

The food drive competition will run until our office closes on Friday, September 4. All goods will be donated to Rising Up Morgan County, a local food bank and warming center. The fan base that contributes the largest number of donated items wins the showdown -- and major bragging rights.

As the cross-county rivalry game draws near, join in on the fun with a friendly competition for a great cause. Follow MCREA's social media channels for updates throughout the competition. Good luck Beetdiggers and Mustangs!
